The material quality of this adjustable desk frame is great. We previously purchased a powered sit-stand desk from VIVO and are very happy with it. I wish I could say the same for this manual desk frame. If you are only going to stand at a desk, this is a good quality, low cost option. Sitting or standing, if you are at a desk for even a few hours a day, it is important to have good ergonomics to avoid issues with carpel tunnel or other repetitive motion injuries. Very few people can stand all day, so being able to sit with the desk at an appropriate height is important. I am 5'11" and this desk height is uncomfortable in a sitting position because in its lowest position it is too high. Shorter people need not even try. With the adjustable feet in the full up position, the bottom of the desk is at 38-3/4". Which means, this desk desk frame does not go low enough for a proper ergonomic setup while sitting, even with my chair in the fully extended position.
