Very Generic Feeling
The wardrobe sets and the backdrops are stunning. That being said The story feels very generic and a very far departure from the intended source material. This could have been Branded as a DND Series a willow series or any other Major IP. The elves feel too human and are missing that Aristocratic almost royal arrogance they are known for. As there are characters that would be alive in the later movies alive in this series they seem out of place. The harfoots are cute as a Pre-Hobbit ancestor and there is a mega cute Giant bunny. for all that I believe this show missed the mark.
