Although this looks like it is for releasing silicone from itself to make a two part mold; it is not. This is for releasing silicone from industrial molds. I talked to CRC about the issue of how it labels the can, since it seems to be labelled/marketed in a way to release mold halves or a resin cast from a silicone mold. CRC denies responsibility, but said they would offer me a check in the mail for damages to a mold I used this product with and the wasted money I spent on their product. That check never came. CRC will not offer a refund and will claim its product label is infallible. If you do want a good silicone mold release for your silicone molds: check out Mann 200 Ease Release or something similar. I got the Mann 200 spray from dickblick art supplies and its great.
