Needs much better editing
I may have liked the book better if it didn't have so many spelling and punctuation errors, but every error I saw just grated on my nerves. There was page after page of extra quotations or missing quotations. But the worst errors were those that should have been caught by an editor. Talk about a baby's eyes being "copper brown like her dad's" in several places, and then having the mother reminisce about her baby's "blue eyes." Keith Franklin and Norman Watkins were characters at the beginning of the book but were named Ken Franklin and Norman Wade by the end. I didn't find the book suspenseful or compelling. Characters were introduced and then killed or forgotten early on, and it never felt like there was a main character for the reader to relate to. Unfortunately, the book just didn't live up to the "thriller" expectation of the premise. Too bad.
