Don't expect much out of this unit. 1#Vision; The company says you can see with ambient light. No you can't. Blank screen. I could see better with my naked eyes than with this device. In the darkness with full moon. I could barely see the light coming out of my house. 2# IR illuminator; I had to use the ir light to see anything. Note to user the IR light can be seen by user and any on or thing. The red glow from this IR light can be seen from a hundred yards away. The use or this IR light will also cut your battery life to probably 1 hour. Don't expect 6 hours. 3# Vision with IR illuminator is ok. I was able to see in detail. Detail was good at close range 50 yards to 70yards. Note to user; don't expect to look at ground in front of your feet. Magnification is so great that it starts at 40 feet to 300 feet. 4# Product support. I was not able to contact company. I want to ask tech support to see if the device was operating properly because I could not see anything with ambient light. I still don't know. So I returned product and as expected was easy to return on Amazon.
