We initially loved the unit, for it was very handy for ridding the kitchen area of fruit flies and other flies since June 2020. After using for 6 months, the unit interrupted the GFCI breaker when something blew up inside the unit. It was smoking and the stench was unsavory. We are glad it was plugged into a GFCI outlet, but it still could have caused a fire in our home. It appears from the picture that a capacitor blew up located on the control circuitry. We still have the extra bulbs that were provided but they will be of no use.
