I love these things in the beginning. The first month of use it’s like this cushy pencil shaped angel has descended from up on high and wrapped its little silicon angel wings around my Apple Pencil. It’s really a game changer because the Apple Pencil au-naturel feels absolutely awful to hold- It’s too skinny and slippery and just feels cheap. Then I start to hate them. They start to loosen after about the first month, just enough so you notice it. By the second month you’re having to readjust the flat bit every couple of uses - frustrating but manageable. At the end of the third month, the silicon is so loose that the flat part absolutely refuses to stay on the flat part, so to charge your pencil you have to spend 5 minutes readjusting the thing to get it just right. If you manage to muck that up like I did and not get it exactly lined up, you end up with an insecurely held Apple Pencil that falls off while you’re getting in your car and just so happens to find its way under the front tire. I’ve purchased two packs in 6 months with all 4 sleeves loosening to the point of uselessness. There’s a shrinkage technique involving boiling water and an ice bath that I’ve tried a few times to no avail. If you’re one to believe that it’s better to have loved and lost than to have never loved at all, this sleeve is for you. Buy it and enjoy your ride on the roller coaster of love.
