I bought this out of desperation when my usual CosRX sun cream went out of stock. I should have done more research, but at this price point I just went ahead and bought it, hoping for the best. This was a grave mistake. I use Tretinoin .05% a few times a week, so sunscreen is a MUST for me. The first time I applied A'pieu Pure Block I was hit by the smell of alcohol and felt the dreaded "tight face." Unfortunately I was in such a position where i didnt have any immediate substitute, so had to continue using this product for 3 more days. On that 3rd day, my moisture barrier was officially ruined to the point where even water touching my face caused a stinging pain. [Please note: i am WELL-versed in moisturizing; i use hada lobo, squaline oil, and hydrating moisturizer daily. The A'pieu is seemingly unstoppable with its dehydrating powers.] So please, if you use any form of retinoid or retinol products, AVOID A'PIEU PURE BLOCK AT ALL COSTS! I would be hesitant to even recommend this for sensitive skin with no retinol use.
