Poorest of the series
This conclusion to what was an exciting pulp romp through cartel culture is disappointing. Its plot is lugubrious. The first 50 pages are a slog, a mortal sin for any action novel. The main plot development is a micrometer thin disguised lefty fanboy fantasy attack on Donald trump. Yawn. Commercial tip: if you want to sell books, how about not alienating half your potential customers? Or is the frisson of self righteousness too irresistible?
