My parents bought me this sprayer for my birthday as I have begun doing some furniture repainting as a hobby. I used it on a couple of small projects and it worked great. I was surprised at how far the paint went (because you water it down). It wasn't too heavy to hold and easy to control. I like the versatility of the different spray patterns - very useful w/ furniture projects. Then one Saturday I had two coffee tables and four spindle chairs out. Gave them all two coats of primer with the sprayer, then started in on the black paint. After one coat I couldn't get the sprayer to spray anymore. I checked everything the manual said to, cleaned it out, etc to no avail. I set it aside. A few days later I came back to it - same problem. It wouldn't even spray water when I was testing it in the sink. It was then that my husband noticed that the plastic seal in the container lid was cracked. I called Home Right customer service and she said she would get the part "right out". 10 days later I was still waiting, so I called again. That CS told me that the reason I hadn't gotten the part was because they were out but she would go get one out of a box and UPS Next Day it to me. Two days later, no part. I called again and the CS agent was able to verify that it was sent, but just regular USPS. The first replacement part was for the wrong item. When the correct part did come, it too was cracked in pretty much the same exact spot. So basically there's a major design flaw in that one part that is going to continue to be a problem. I am contacting the manufacturer for a refund.
