I use this stool to sit on whenever I take a shower. It is stable and doesn't tip at all. (That's why I wanted a four-legged stool instead of a three-legged stool; more stability.) My shower is extremely narrow, but this stool fits very well and leaves me enough room for a footstool I use to keep my feet out of the water. I like the choice of colors. My only disappointment with this stool is that rust has formed underneath. I was hoping that by buying this product, I wouldn't have to deal with either rust or mold/mildew (I've learned that the hard way from using other healthcare bath seat products with many crevices that are impossible to clean and keep mold-free.) When the stool is tipped as I or my caregiver move it from one place to another, water leaks out from inside, and the water looks muddy due to the rust. UPDATE 5/4/16 When I tipped the stool a bit while carrying it last night, black and rusty water spilled out. I quickly managed to get the stool into the tub and tipped out the rest of the watery contents which had collected in there for ???? long? (See picture.) It was kinda gross. So now I'm on the search for a rust-proof but easy to clean shower stool. It's really too bad that this rusts, as I've enjoyed it so much in the shower and must use a stool every time I shower due to a physical disability. So if you just want a fun-looking stool that you never plan to get wet and only use indoors, this may be a good item for you. If you're planning to use it in the shower, AVOID this one!
