I bought these shoes because I bought a different color from Macy's and loves them. I actually bought the pinkish ones at the begining of the summer but haven't worn them very much. The few times I did, they made the back of my heel bleed but I didnt think much of it and figured they needed to be worn in. I've come to realize that these shoes are not the same leather material as the original ones I bought from Macy's. They are not soft, they are stiff. I thought the quality just might have gone down but I'm at Macy's today and they have the same pair in the same color and it is the soft leather like the my old pair. The price is $69.00, just about the same as the price here. Buy them in the stores. I can't imagine how they can be fake but I'm telling you, they are definitely not the same shoes.
