My dog is getting older, but he still likes to get on my lap when I'm sitting on the sofa. I thought these steps would be a good way for him to get up there. Well, not so much. It took him a little while to get used to them, then the top step came loose a few times and he fell. Today, the cheap posts that connect the step to the sides completely snapped and he fell into the step! He's only 28 lbs, so I thought these stairs would be fine, but apparently not. Now my poor baby is traumatized. I'll buy another brand of steps.
