Potentially Damaging Chemical Additive
This product would be really a great product, but it blatantly contains Sodium Benzoate - a preservative found in
Coke, Pepsi, and most other "soft drinks". The Coca-Cola company at this writing is phasing out Sodium Benzoate
for its damaging effects on human mitochondria. When Sodium Benzoate is combined with ascorbic acid
(Vitamin C, E300) and potassium benzoate, it produces benzene - a well known carcinogen. Just let
me point out that Sodium Benzoate is used in many products including cleaning agents and fireworks.
Sodium Benzoate by itself can damage vital parts of human DNA in a cell's mitochondria. Why a company
would produce a product to protect and vitalize your health but add this damaging chemical being currently
phased out of many soft drinks is beyond me.
This product also contains elements tied to aspartame, though not directly, it can still be a risk to individuals
with weak immune systems. - Brandon Eli Roman, Ph.D, The Walters Judson Group
