Very disappointed in this blanket! I ordered one for my mother-in-law as a gift and one for myself. Hers arrived first and she anxiously washed and dried it to use that evening. Only to be disappointed because one side didn’t heat and the controllers flashed red. She unplugged it and tried again, then eventually ended up calling Sunbeam. The customer service rep advised her to return it. So, I did and the replacement blanket on occasion has the same issue with flashing red lights on the controller. When my blanket arrived, I also have the red light issue. If you unplug and replug it into the electric outlet then it resets itself and works but this can be a big hassle if your outlet isn’t easily accessible (like behind your nightstand)! I got them at a good price so we kept them but definitely wouldn’t buy again or recommend them to anyone!
