There are many positive reviews on this product and I wish someone would have shown me the bottom side of the desk which exposes everything for me. Here is what you need to know before buying this desk; #1: Its made of shredded recycled wood or some type of cheap wood therefore if during assembly you over screw on any part of the legs it will compromise the entire stability of the desk thus you will have a wobbly & unstable desk. #2: The white modern color comes from a thin like sticker coated on top of the wood which already shows signs of degradation upon unpacking. If anything spills on this desk its over! it will bubble up and chip away #3: Desk isn't as smooth as it looks from up close. The drawer droops a bit, edges are slightly chipped, slight gaps where legs attach, No bottom leg padding or caps (comes as shown), and top counter space has small ridge lines. Overall I love the design but completely dislike the product. Also my desk came with smudges and stains but it may just be unique to my case. Good luck!
