Don't buy for AC outlet usage
Didn't realize until the item arrived that, despite claiming AC power support, the inflator does not come with an AC connector. The entire reason I bought this was to have something to plug into AC power. Further, neither this listing nor Dewalt's website describes which AC adapter to buy. (I found out through fellow Amazon users, search for "N557514.") I ordered the AC adapter -- which apparently retails for $80, nearly the price of the inflator -- and it arrived today. And the thing is the most cumbersome unit you can imagine. It's half the size of the inflator, with one short ~15" cable that connects to the inflator and another short ~30" cable that connects to a wall. So now you've got a massive brick dangling between your wall and this inflator, which itself has a short ~30" hose. The most unwieldy physical design imaginable for a compact tire inflator. GG. Function is pretty simple and I like that it powers itself off when it reaches a target PSI. Also has a meter that reads out the PSI of the tire (etc.) you have connected to it. Annoyingly, the target PSI appears to reset every time it's reached, so if you're filling up 4x tires to 30 PSI, you'll have to set your Dewalt inflator target PSI to 30 PSI four separate times. I'm annoyed.
