This Kindle is apparently for kids. What’s ridiculous is they don’t allow immersion or whisper sync on this device. Whisper, sync or immersion is when you can listen to the book and follow along on the Kindle with the words highlighted. This is extremely effective in increasing comprehension, and also helping kids read. I find it ridiculous that Amazon has kindle products with whisper sync on it that aren’t geared towards kids. It would be a coup if they could have a kids kindle that had audible/immersion/whisper sync. I have no idea why they can’t come up with something like that. I surely would spend the money.
