I know it looks cute and the red color is quite nice. But don't buy based on appearances. I went through every review and at least 7 other consumers reported that the glass on their toaster oven shattered as well, so this is not safe. The oven would make pinging, popping noises after use, when it was cooling down. We really only used it to toast bread. The glass shattered one day about 1/2 hour after I had made toast, following the usual popping noises. It just seemed to spontaneously shatter. I called the company and was put on hold for an hour, "your call is very important to us" looping every 10 seconds without a human responding. Thank goodness Amazon has free returns, free shipping, even though I'd purchased this 2 months ago. Thank you, Amazon!!
