So we bought this item just over a year ago, the Ninja Mega Kitchen System BL70030, and has already broken down. We bought to make our green smoothies that we drink every morning and today the blade base and cup became stuck in the base. When I called the Ninja support site, was told it was out of warranty...of course it is! By not quite 2months...and that there was nothing to be done but they could offer it to me at the great deal of $144 (before tax) to replace it. Really?! I am going to pay over $150 a year to replace a blender for smoothies. My regular blender lasted longer than that. I feel like they make things to last just pass their warranty, so that you have to continually buy again. Very disappointed in the workmanship of this product and their response. Alone with it being stuck now, I have to say it was also one of the loudest blenders we have ever owned. After looking on line to see if I could find a solution, looks like this machine has this happen a lot. Would not buy this machine again nor recommend.
