I wish that I could give this a lower score than one star. We followed the ice cream making instructions and recipes exactly and after 5 tries the ice cream never solidifies in the churn. I can't tell you how much milk, cream, and fruit we threw away. The last time we tried to make ice cream we left the canister in the freezer for 5 days prior just to make sure that it was really frozen. In addition, the machine is extremely loud to the point that you can't hear the television while it's running. I called Cuisinart Customer support and waited on hold for over an hour only to be greeted by a company representative that know nothing about this product. Cuisinart used to be a great company with very good quality products. Cuisinart now makes cheap throwaway junk. It's a nice looking machine, but that's about all I can say good about it. This machine does not work as advertised. We are sending it back. Do not waste your money or time on this worthless piece of junk. On the positive side, Amazon support was great, and they took it back and gave us a full refund.
