totally great, cute and simple Uke set (practical bag, lame tuner, not great strings, and a neck strap) for your absolute beginner and about 3 months of lessons. Even if you or your kid hates it/changes mind about playing, you won't feel bad for spending $60 for it. The strings are not tricky and the tuning pegs are even trickier. At the onset, the tuning heads/pegs constantly misaligned/mistuned within seconds of tuning. When you are ready to pursue ukulele, and know more, go better, $150 plus.
