Significantly more comfortable than a Fitbit
Pros- The best thing about this band is its wearability. The underside is curved, so sweat doesn't collect and give that soggy band-aid skin I would get under the Fitbit. There are no sharp edges and the band breaks off under resistance, so it's not dangerous to wear while grappling.
Cons- the charger is poorly designed: hard to attach. The software could be smarter. I'm charging currently and the software "noticed" I got fewer steps today. Surely it can tell it's plugged in? Also, I'd prefer it if I didn't have to tell it I'm working out. Why can't it use the elevated heart rate to determine this? I keep forgetting to either turn the workout on or turn it off when I'm done.
*** edited after two weeks - dropped from 4 stars to 2. Charger is very poorly designed- attaches by magnet to the band - cord is extremely short, but magnet not strong enough to overcome the pull of gravity. I charge it by using a portable battery pack. The under armour software, my fitness pal and record, are supposed to be upgraded to premium. The links don't work and the two accounts are difficult to link to each other. Fitbit and apple software significantly less annoying. This is a very expensive pedometer - I wish I hadn't bought it.
