I LOVED this laptop for the first 2 months. Then one evening I closed the laptop, walked into another room and opened the laptop. The lower right corner of the screen had shattered. I was relieved that the manufacturer warranty was still in effect and so called them. Lenovo support told me that this happens to their products and is considered an accident and isn't covered. The support guy on the phone said that this happened to his laptop too, and as a consumer, he was mad about this also. But the official Lenovo position is that closing the laptop may cause the screen to crack and is a normal course of its usage.
