I have used Kirkland Signature Pure Vanilla Extract before and was extremely pleased with it. When I was about to run out of it, I purchased a new bottle from Costco (same green label as pictured here) and it is AWFUL!!! I am returning it today. Still had a little bit in the previous bottle (different label design) to compare the two and WOW what a difference! The old one (pictured on the left) still smells and tastes heavenly while the new one (on the right) smells AND tastes truly bad - a very "off" fragrance and flavor. Don't know what they did to it; but I'm so disappointed and will not be buying it again! Update: when I returned this bottle to Costco, the person handling my return agreed with me! I did leave a written complaint with Costco because they seem to be pretty responsive to customer feedback; so I think it's worth the effort. If enough people do the same maybe they'll go back to a quality product.
