Bests & Worsts Reviews from Amazon

I read all the reviews before I purchased this and was excited to start using it! Unfortunately after about 10 uses (light use, less than 1 hour of intermittent use) the vacuum suddenly became less effective. It either vacuums forever and then gets tired of doing that and stops- never having sealed the bag. Or, I can manually override this and press "seal" and there's still air in the bag.. negating the point of a vacuum seal. really disappointed and wish I would have not spent so much money on it. Also, I had ordered the food saver brand specific bags as back up anticipating that I would love this... more money ($40) out the window!
