This item is advertised as a wide-mouth funnel. Anything sold to a canner is classified as regular mouth or wide mouth. So, when I order something labeled as wide-mouth, I expect to get something made to fit a wide mouth canning jar. This product does not. It fits a regular mouth jar instead. It matters because the funnel does not rest securely in the mouth of the wide mouth jars, but rattles around. This could cause spilling or burns. Also, many use wide mouth jars to can large items like pickles or okra. You'd likely have a problem easily fitting larger items like pickles and okra through this funnel unless you put the items with tongs one at a time, thus negating the advantage of using a wide mouth jar. Also, I think this product will not last. Where the handle is tack welded onto the funnel, the contact points are already discolored like rust, fresh out of the package. I'd send it back, but the shipping charge is not worth it. Instead, I hope I can warn others away from this product before they waste money and don't get what they need.
