Poorly done.
Even though I love the Cinderella story and enjoyed many other retellings this one felt hard to connect with the characters. Additionally, it was so self love focused it ignores how love does require self-sacrifice forgiveness and good communication (thought there was one moment between the king and queen that did show this a bit). It felt like some of the songs did not go well with what was happening in the scenes. I will not be watching this again. Nor will I allow my nieces to watch it as teachers a skewed view of healthy relationships.
