I have to say that I'm really sad to have to write such a negative review on a CPK. I'm an adult collector and have collected CPK's since the 80', so I have a lot of different CPK's from different time eras. I was so excited to see the 35th Anniversary CPK's come out and I fell in love with the pictures of this particular doll. I ordered her the day she hit Amazon and waited in anticipation for her to arrive. What I can tell you is the box has changed. It's no longer the oddly shaped old school box, but this one is rectangular. It came with the story of the CPK's on the back, which was a nice touch, but I was expecting the old school box like all the other dolls. I know the description said 14" doll, but I wasn't prepared for how small she actually is. Her entire arm is as long as my index finger. It took me about 20 minutes to get her out of her box because there were so many ties on her. I wanted to be careful not to damage the doll. The first thing I noticed is a lot of extra strings that needed to be trimmed from her body and her clothes. Then I took off her eye mask and noticed the ribbon in the back was damaged. That was disappointing considering the price of the doll. But what really upset me is the hair. It's a mess and looks nothing like it does in the original picture. This doll has a bald spot in the back of her head. Thy head is painted black so they really skimped on the hair and it shows. (see the below photos) I'm extremely disappointed with the quality of this doll. I expected more. What also annoyed me is they didn't put slippers or shoes on the doll. Really? I'm just not happy with the quality of this doll and would advise not purchasing it unless you want to be disappointed. Sadly, I'm sending her back.
