I really wanted to love this turntable, I really, really did. The turntable itself was stunning. The first turntable I received I had to send back due to RPM issues. Even following the recommended tutorials, was still unable to reduce the RPMs to acceptable levels, for 33 1/3, only able to reduce to 49.9 RPMs, while for 45, was only able to reduce to a whopping 86.6 RPMs. I figured that not all merchandise can be perfect, so I returned to Amazon for a refund. Once the refund was issued, I ordered a second one. Second turntable was just as beautiful, unfortunately, it suffered from the same issues, only this time I was able to reduce the 33 1/3 RPMs from 57.7 (initial) RPMs to 49.6 and for the 45 RPM setting, from 85.6 (initial RPMs) to 59.8 RPMs. To say I was heartbroken is an understatement. As I mentioned earlier, I really wanted to love this turntable. Absolutely stunning in its simplicity, but the RPM issue was too much. I dislike giving poor reviews, but in good conscience, can not give a positive. As I mentioned to the CSR, it's like having a Ferrari sitting in my driveway with no engine; beautiful to look at but what's the point if it doesn't run?
