Cannot recommend for TRUE WOMEN not a great fit
TRUE WOMEN KNOW One size fits all can never be applied to women and this statement cannot even be applied to the same woman. Every woman knows that true women DO NOT FIT into ONE category. And every woman knows demanding on hormones, what we eat, how much rest, exercise, lack rest or exercise or stress can easy change what does or does not fit us from one day to the next. As far as cups go it's pretty much the same and it also depends on how crampy we are or our cervix placement or even our bowl movement or our bladder. (Sometimes Flex disc makes me feel like I have to go pee and occasionally I cannot pee with it in) For the most part I feel this cup is a centimeter or a centimeter and a quarter too big. Some days it fits with a little work. Other days it might fit with a bit of a struggle. Then there are days it not going in and I can just feel it the tip of the rim from my outside. Now I have used many cups from Lumma (large/medium Lena(regular/Sensitive) Ruby, Duchess, flex pull, Lilly compact, Salt and soft disc. Furthermore I can never put this in directly how they instruct. Yes I squeeze the sides so it goes in straight but once inside I have to push the dics until I feel the disc fold into a "u" shape. then I guide the disc up and place it onto the ridge of my pelvis bone area. I tried to displayed this in the last picture I posted. It is always a guessing game with this product wether or not it will fit behind my pelvis bone. Even in the same day it changes and many times more than not it leaks. And this is because it slips off my pelvis bone. I honestly wish it was softer. It's too firm, just a little too big and honestly needs more flex. In the pictures I compared it to the Lumma Large and the Lumma Medium. I can easily switch between the Lumma Large or the Lumma Medium. If I am crampy I go one size down. If I feel relaxed I go one size up. Honestly Flex disc as it is now is not worth the aggravation. These are too expensive to buy and they don't work half the time. Honestly I do not get the point either. They do not last 12 hours and they claim once you pull it out you have to toss it so it's just as wasteful. I cannot in good conscience recommend these. Just now my friend was texting freaking she didn't have tampons and though I had these I wouldn't even offer her them out of fear of scaring her away from mensural cups for good. for people who are looking for a toss away product and are not ready to make a full switch to green I don't recommend they start with this at all. This is for experience users only. (Which I am). I will never use tampons again but unless flex changes their stupid one size fits all (and maybe make the material more flexible/softer) I won't be using theirs disc either! It's a good attempt but they're not there yet. ***NOW SERIOUS TMI WARNING.*** This advertises can be wore during sex... I experiment this theory with and without my husband (use of a "toy" as substitute) Well yes this theory is somewhat true... I can also compare my experience with flex to the Lumma cups. Now with Flex it was a bit awkward at first because the rim is a bit rough or stiff (husband's words exactly) So you and your partner have to be careful with positioning. just like with my experience of wearing flex for catching my flow my sexual experience was also a hit or miss. Sometimes there was leaks and sometimes there wasn't. This was tough for the sheets that's for sure. I didn't have this problem with my Lumma cups and my husband actually liked the smooth feel of the Lumma cups he has asked me to use them a few times when I didn't even need to lol and I have to say the Lumma cups ( unlike the flex cups) makes the sexual experience far more pleasant for me too... not quite sure why but hey bonus points are bonus points :-) Good luck with your cup experiences. Do not give up. The change is worth it! PS a little lubrication helps with insert. 7-19-20 decided to do a small update/editing cuz was menstruating and in the mood to be intimate so I headed to the bathroom and I noticed my flex cups collecting dust... For a moment I thought about reaching For one but I quickly dismissed the idea cuz I'm crampy and I know it's not going to fit so I went with my medium Lumma instead... :-) size does matter... Especially when it comes to menstruation protection!
