I've never seen anything like this.
Have been using this hair dryer for over a year now. I have thick hair so I section my hair and switch the dryer on and off a couple of times during the period that I'm drying my hair to section etc. Last week I left the dryer on the chair beside me while I was doing this - it had been in use for possibly 3 minutes and it slipped and fell on my leg. And burned me! The mark of the grill is still on my leg. Do not buy this or use it around kids. I've never seen anything like this.
