Well, I thought my cats were pretty smart. They use their fountain. They take my socks out of the drawer and hide them around the house. They ask for treats and protect us from suspicious shadows and rogue breezes. This toy is way above their pretty little heads, though. I tried modeling, hand over paw assistance and explaining the process carefully in two languages (English and Cat) to no avail. I will likely relocate the toy closer to the sock drawer. Maybe some magic will occur.
