The Differen Balancing Cleanser does not do a good job of cleansing the skin. The first time that I used it, I had on makeup so I wanted to see how well it removed it. When I was done, I went back over my skin with a cleansing towelette and so much makeup was still on my skin. The cleanse is gentle though and has a light scent as well but as far as cleansing goes, I think I will stick with what I've been using.
