I had been keeping an eye on robovacs for a while, and was excited to see something from Anker go on sale for under $250. I don't think I've ever been more disappointed in a large-ish online purchase. When I tried running it on a schedule, it got stuck on something EVERY time. I got an alert on my phone every day, and I'd come home to it having sucked up a wire that seemed VERY out of reach, or pinched under a cabinet, or perched up on a small item. You can't have ANYTHING on the ground that could POSSIBLY get under it or that's juuuust tall enough to let it partway under. It WILL get itself stuck unless your room is basically barren. Fine. That's the price of admission for these entry-level items, and bad on me for expecting more. However, today, I tried the magnetic stop strips for the first time, and even those failed. I heard it literally trying to suck one up, and turned around to the vacuum trying VERY hard to get over the strip and off my loft. That's literally what these were included to do--to turn it back around at ledges. At this point, the thing is basically a decoration. I'm done trying to use it.
