This is the third tablet in a row that has a failed charging port within less than a year!!! My son loses his progress in all his games every time I have to transfer them to a new tablet, this is getting ridiculous! That's wasted money on all the apps and upgrades that he gets throughout the time that he uses the tablet. I have a forced tablet that I purchased for my daughter recently but it will likely be the last one that I order because I'm sure that one's going to fall the same pattern and stop charging within a year like the other two. pay the extra money and stay away from fire tablets unless you just want to see them as a disposable product that you have to replace every 6 to 12 months because it won't charge anymore. Look up the problem online and you'll see lots of similar problems with the charging port. I have no idea why Amazon does not fix this problem.
