They advertise the Gotham to function like this but this one doesn't
Placed it on the burner. Heated up the surface to 350 degrees, placed my salmon on the grill surface. Gave it a minute and attempted to flip. Half of the salmon stayed on the grill surface.
Tried it with hamburger patties. Same result.
Tried it with steak and it burned the steak on the raised surfaces and did not cook the spaces in between.
I have a red copper pan (competitor brand) and heat it up to 500 degrees on the stove top and drop in raw steak. Watch it sizzle for 1.5 minutes and flip wait for 1.5 minutes. I then put the pan in the 475 Degree oven for 7 minutes for a 1.5 inch thick steak and it is the most tender steak you can find. I simply rinse the pan and its completely clean, no sticking.

Don't recommend this brand.
