I liked the characters and felt they were well-drawn. I love Florida and the Keys and I really wanted to love this book. The plot wanders an awfully lot. For a good part of the book the main character isn't even involved. Also, I feel people ought to know about books and what kind of content they have. So I'll just say that while the language isn't the worst I've read, it isn't good either. There are multiple F-bombs and other swear words as well. Also, there are multiple sexual encounters initiated and while they aren't overly long or graphic (They do head away from them for most of the encounter) it is still jarring and unrelated to the mystery. One of the sexual encounters initiated is homosexual. If these things matter to you, you may want to look elsewhere. Won't read any more books by this author. Not my sort of story.
