Had to update...beside myself right now! I contacted wahl and they sent me a new set. Took it out, oiled it, this one was actually cutting so I was happy. Cut my 3 boys hair...first day using it and the blade comes out! It is useless. Honestly don't even know what to do at this point. Attaching a video. The wahl rep did send me a video on aligning the blade. Really?? Spend 50$ and have to fix it straight out of the box? Really disappointed. Doesn't cut hair at all! I ordered this despite some negative reviews and hoped for the best. The blade on the first one I ordered was terrible. It seemed used and old when I opened it. It also seemed crooked and jagged. I read all instructions and was very careful to oil before use the first time and clean and oil after using. I loved the combs so I really hoped this was a fluke. I returned and reordered. The second set was the same! I liked the guide combs enough to just keep them and cut my losses. I bought a 40$ wahl clipper set from the store and used with the combs. Same problem! Idk if wahl has changed how they make the blades or what the problem is, but I have 3 boys and have been cutting their hair for over 10 years. These are the worst I've owned and the cheaper wahls I've bought in the past were better. Extremely dissappointed as I cut their hair to save money, and this has cost me over 100$! They literally just pull the hair out!
