At first, I was pleased with the cover because it was attractive. Unfortunately, after a few months of use, I discovered that it had left permanent black marks on my Kindle Touch. I am uploading a picture of what these permanent marks look like onto the customer-provided pictures for this product. When I contacted the company, they said they were aware that it had happened before. They offered to send me a new cover with a plastic insert. I told them I was very disappointed about the permanent black marks on my new Kindle and would be posting pictures on Amazon. At this point, they said they would also throw in a $50 Visa gift card. I guess both items are still in the mail. However, I VERY MUCH regret ever getting this cover. No cover is worth damage to your Kindle. Bottom line: maybe your Kindle will be fine with this cover. Or, maybe, it will get permanent marks. Why risk it? Get another cover. I wish I had.
