Topper Not as Described. No longer Sleep Innovation - Now Innocor - Not 10 year warranty only 5 year
The item you order is not what you get. Sleep Innovation has been sold and is now Innocor. Amazon states the foam topper has a 10 year limited warranty - the mattress topper you now receive is only a 5-year limited warranty per the included paperwork. The topper was not suppose to come with a cover but this one included a cheap piece of material that lies on top of the foam and is tucked in at the sides. Considering these 2 things, I assumed I was sent the wrong topper.
I contacted Amazon the day it was delivered to inquire why it wasn't what they described. The Amazon rep said he didn't know (also didn't seem to care) and if I didn't want it to contact the manufacture and send it back to them (with me paying the freight). I explained it was sold through Amazon, so wouldn't it go back to Amazon. Eventually he agreed Amazon was responsible.
I went ahead and contacted the Innocor to ask if they could tell me if I had the correct topper for what I paid. (Big difference between 5 year and 10 year warranty.) I just wanted what I had paid for. Their customer service was terrible to deal with. They don't seem to know how to handle a simple question.
The end result is that I am not going through the work of sending it back. It is very large and very heavy. I feel I was cheated by Amazon and am extremely disappointed with them. I feel they should have checked into the situation and at least change their description of the topper.
