I am so disappointed in this. I love the Ninja brand. I don't know what's up with this one though. It's so loud I actually have to warn my child (admittedly he is extra sensitive) before I turn it on, so he can cover his ears or leave the room. My smoothie keeps getting up under the rubber ring, and I can't get it clean without taking the ring out every time. I did contact the company to ask them if that was normal, and if so how do I get the rubber ring out easily without damaging it. The only way I can get it out is to stab it with a fork, and drag it out. While they were super nice, and got back to me very quickly every time, their answer was to just send me a new blade. Well that's nice, but still doesn't answer my question or solve my problem. The first 2 blades they sent me were for a different Ninja. When they finally sent me the one that works for what I bought I still didn't have an answer to how the rubber ring is supposed to work with the system. Now I don't know what happened. It leaks every time I use it, and it is hard to clean all the nooks and crannies in the base. Sometimes we can get the blade back off, and other times my husband has to get a c-clamp from the garage to get it off. I'm over it. I went out, and bought a different Ninja system. I would return this one, but my kids already destroyed and recycled the box it came in even though I tried to hide it from them. What can I say, my kid like to make forts with boxes rather than sheets. :)
