I purchased this sweeper with confidence that it would be really good tool. I have many Black and Decker tools have been completely satisfied with there performance. This product is a total fail. I wish I had used this thing before the window for return expiration had expired. I am dissatisfied with this purchase. The concept is great. The reality of what this vacuum can do is disappointing. There multiple things I think are not well executed. Two things are deal breakers for me. One, the suction is inadequate for sweeping car mats or anything more than lightly dusty. Two, if debris is small particulate matter ( sand, grass, leafy) that clings to the soles of shoes the filter rapidly clogs. It must be cleaned and washed and dried before more sweeping can occur. The task is not difficult. It does however eat up time better spent actually cleaning the home or car rather than cleaning the sweeper. If your purpose is to dust dashboards, cup holders or book selves with an noisy appliance it will work. I think 80 dollars is way too much to spend for something that essentially functions as a duster.
