Watkins was a common brand name in our household when I was growing up. When I was looking for a reasonably priced vanilla and saw that brand I bought it. I guess you get what you pay for. Sorry, but this is the worst vanilla I have ever tried. It has a strong scent and flavor. It just doesn't taste like vanilla to me.
