Lids slide off without any pressure! I would NOT put spices in these jars because you will get a mess! I originally purchased Stainless Steel Magnetic Spice Tins + BONUS 45 Expiry Date Labels and Stainless Steel Adhesive Hook for 4 Stainless Steel Measuring Spoons + 151 Spice Labels (24 Pack) but when I realized I needed more I wanted to try another brand to see if I could get a stronger magnet than the Stainless Steel Spice Tins. The Bekith Bekith 12 Pack Magnetic Spice Tins Multi-Purpose Storage Tin, Clear Top Lid with Sift or Pour, Magnetic on Refrigerator and Grill. Includes 144 PVC Spice Label Set. have very strong magnets! But the lid are a no go. It could be a great product if the lids were more secure. See video.
