The bin is big enough for your standard supermarket grocery plastic bag to fit in - which is great. It's easy to lift and throw trash away. You do need to make sure if you want to install it under your sink cabinet, that the sink is not in the way underneath. My sink sits lower than the cabinet door so when the door is closed, it runs ever so slightly on the bin's lid. Another area one needs to be conscious of is if the cabinet doors are width(side by side) is shorter than usual, trying to open the door with the bin will not work. You end up having to open both cabinet doors because the bin will get caught on the other door as you open due to the depth/thickness of the bin. Happened to me so I can't use it under the sink. The cons - the only reason I'm giving it 2 stars. The lid does not have a tight seal. The rear side of the lid has a cut out space which leaves the rear exposed to the smelly funk of the garbage. Deal breaker if you are using for food trash like I am.
