I have a 2 years old daughter and this vest does not work well on her . You need to try and see because no all kids float the same. It will tip her over and keep her head under water . She got so scare that next time she saw the swimming pool she start shaking . Please , Please be very cautious when using this floater because is not for every child . I won’t recommend this vest for a little one . Maybe for an older kid . Over 4 .
