Unfortunately Midwest Homes chose to make a cage with their Critter Nation line, that comes with trays that are so shallow they are basically useless if you have Chinchillas. This product is an add on for their terrible pans and is designed to clip on to it. The clips do not secure to the pan well and it does very little to aid in keeping bedding and litter in the pan. Do not buy this product and be cautious with their cage if you own Chinchillas, they obviously have no idea what it's like to raise Chins in such a cage. Do a Google search for Bass Equipment. They make sturdy stainless steel pans that fit these cages and are so much better than the Midwest Homes products.
