I purchased a older model on December 2017 (paid much more than whats available now). Here are some tips on this neat little vacuum. (1) Keep it emptied clean - it has great filtration and a very small canister and will fill really quickly hampering its "suck" ability. If it feels like your lacking suction, dump, clean and wash all the filters including the pop-out dust filter. (2) If it all of a sudden "shuts off" in the middle of your cleaning and you know the battery is charged, the roller in the vacuum head needs to be cleaned. For us, dog fur gets wrapped around the spinney brush bushings (were it spins) and puts extra load on the brush motor making the unit "shut down" after only a few minutes. The brush comes out of the head easily (flip-up and pull out). You will see a "indentation" the length of the brush, take a razor or knife and cut down that indentation. This lets you easily "cut and pull off" any wrapped-up fur and threads (a nice feature). Then clean the pivots that the brush spins on and the motor side in the head. They all must spin freely. (3) If it becomes "draggy" when moving across the floor, its the little rollers on the front of the brush-head. They easily bind-up with our long haired dog fur. They could have designed this a bit better. I usually clean these little wheels when doing #2. (4) This is made for non-carpet floors. Don't expect allot if your rolling over carpet. The suction will never be like my shop-vac or any other 115V plug in vacuum, but for a quick dust / light dirt / tumbleweed fur it works fine. I give it one star because the price dropped $60 in eight months since I purchased ours and to get your attention on the issues you may encounter. All-in-all, not a bad little vacuum.
