Functional...but need to buy a T-Adapter that does not leak
This bidet works well if it came with non-leaking parts. I installed it and the water pressure appeared to be pretty high, but it was functional. However, I placed some toilet paper under the T-adapter to double check if there were any leaking. Sure enough, the water began to leak no matter how much I tighten the knobs. Technically, you should hand tighten and it should work as expected. I also applied plumber's white tape on it, but without success. I looked around Amazon and saw that the Luxe Bidet metal T-Adapter was another $10-$15, but the reviews indicate that the adapter is also flawed. I went to home depot to look for local T Adapters, but I could not find one. The closest one is to replace the valve with a valve similar to the dishwasher valve where you will have water entering from two different points. I was planning to do this, but thought this is not the proper way to replace the toilet valve just for this bidet. So finally, I went back to Amazon and found this T-adapter: Aquaus Toilet Adapter/T-Adapter *Made in USA* T-Connector and Valve, 2 BackFlow Preventers, 3-Year Warranty. If you look at the reviews, the top reviewer says that "chances are that you are looking at this product because you bought a Luxe bidet and was underwhelmed by the plastic T adapter..." Unfortunately, the cost of this adapter is $20, but it's well worth the time I've already wasted in trying to fix the water leak just to get this product working properly.
